New COVID-19 Announcement

Good evening Milestones Parents, Guardians, and Faculty:
I am writing to notify you that we were informed this evening that a second staff person has tested positive for COVID-19. The Department of Public Health has found that tonight’s new case is unrelated to the first case.
The individual who was confirmed to be positive this evening has not been at Milestones since last week. Any close contact has already been notified tonight.
*Out of an abundance of caution we will switch to remote learning tomorrow Friday, October 30th and Monday, November 2nd. *
- Tomorrow (Friday, October 30th) will be a half-day with a delayed opening for students from 9:00AM-12:00PM and Halloween activities will be rescheduled. Staff will also have 12:00pm dismissal tomorrow, but they may participate in any pre-scheduled morning meetings.
- Monday (November 2nd) will be a full remote day with typical school-day hours.
- We will follow up by Monday (November 2nd) with next steps, and staff are approved to retrieve items from the building if necessary.
