Reminders about Tomorrow’s PAG Meeting (Friday, 3/5), Scholastic Book Fair, and Half-Day for Professional Development (Monday, 3/8)

Dear Families,

We are happy to be back on campus for onsite instruction.  Today we wanted to share a few reminders regarding tomorrow’s Parent Advisory Group meeting, the Scholastic Book Fair which is currently underway, and this upcoming Monday’s Half-Day early dismissal.

1) PAG Meeting Tomorrow – Friday, March 5th from 10:00am-11:30am:  All parents/guardians are encouraged to join us for our virtual Parent Advisory Group meeting tomorrow morning.  In addition to our parent discussion time, we will offer a training topic on “De-escalation Strategies and Setting Limits” led by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.  We appreciate families’ input from our recent satisfaction survey that will be discussed tomorrow, and below is the login information for joining tomorrow’s meeting.

2) Scholastic Book Fair – March 1st-14th:  We received feedback that some families missed the opportunity to purchase books during our Scholastic Book Fair that took place before the winter holidays.  We’re happy that Scholastic has offered us an opportunity to host a second online book fair from March 1st-14th, which overlaps with Dr. Suess’s birthday and National Read Across America Day.  For all book orders placed, Milestones will earn 25% in book rewards to support new materials for our school.

3) Early Dismissal Reminder – Monday, March 8th:  As a reminder, Milestones is closing for students at 12:00pm (Half-Day early dismissal) on Monday, March 8th for staff’s professional development activities in the afternoon.
