In the middle of the summer, Milestones hosts an annual BBQ for families and staff. This is a great way for the Milestones community to come together and enjoy food, music, and fun in the sun.
Annual NYC Trip
Students in high school are invited to participate in a multi-day trip to New York City where they have an amazing opportunity to explore treasured landmarks and whimsical iconic stores. To top off their trip, students and staff take in a Broadway play and attend a local baseball game. This is a great learning experience for students to help build life skills like navigating the subway, purchasing and paying for meals out, checking into a hotel, time management, etc.
Each year Milestones Day School hosts a Scholastic Book Fair. This is an event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging, affordable books for every reading level. We are lucky we are able to offer selections of interest to students in elementary school, middle school, and even high school!
Milestones hosts or joins together with other schools for a wonderful annual prom for the 11th and 12th graders. This is a fun opportunity for our students to participate in a traditional high school activity. The students come together for a night of dinner and dancing which ends with the traditional crowning of prom king and queen.
Our annual Winter Festival is a special event here at Milestones. Each year, students are invited to showcase a talent at our annual performance event and families are invited to come cheer on and support their students. Students can also show their talent through our art show where they display their amazing creations. Special thanks to our Music Specialist, Emily Desmond, and our Art Specialist, Julie Lauritsen, for coordinating such a wonderful event.
