Parents As Partners

Milestones Day School is committed to parent involvement and collaboration.  We believe that students thrive when the school and family are able to work together as a team.  Milestones collaborates with a Parent Advisory Group (PAG), which is open to all interested parents/guardians of current Milestones students. PAG meetings will take place 4 times per year and reflect a strong collaboration between members of Milestones’ leadership team and families.  Virtual meetings will take place on 4 Fridays from 8:30am – 10am.

PAG Funds Collection Letter

PAG Leadership: Volunteer Opportunities

Box Tops For Education:

Collecting Box Tops for Education is one of the key fundraisers for our Parent Advisory Group. As
most of you are aware, we participate in the Boxtops for Education Program. This entails members
of the Milestones Community “clipping” Box Tops from any participating products, and the school
earns $.10 for every Boxtop submitted. The program has moved to a digital process. See link below
on how the digital process works.
Parents are invited to help collect Box Tops to help support the PAG. It is as easy as downloading the app on
your phone and scanning your receipt within 14 days after purchase. If you have any questions about the
program please contact Heidi Warren at: hwarren@advancingmilestones.com

Parent Advisory Group

MDS holds quarterly PAG meetings that are open to all interested parents/guardians and are co-led by members of Milestones’ leadership team and parent volunteers. The goal of the committee is to discuss topics related to the education, health, and safety of the students and for parents to voice their ideas and concerns. In addition, the PAG plays a vital role in supporting our community’s enrichment. Members may take on specific roles such as helping to identify appropriate speakers and training topics for families, planning for outside of school activities, and fundraising. All meetings include time for parents’ discussion as well as a free parent training. We encourage all parents or guardians of our students to attend.
